Lighting Application Sciences, LLC (LAS) is an independent contractor doing business with various lighting manufacturers and representatives in the United States and around the world. The goal at LAS is to provide accurate Photometric information to our clientele in a timely, efficient manner.
Being that time is money, LAS provides quick turnaround to keep you looking good for your customers and representatives. The most difficult of layout requests can be resolved with the help of LAS using programs such as AutoCAD, AGi32, and Photometric Toolbox. Layouts can be produced using electronic data and returned to you via e-mail in dxf, dwg, pdf, or mailed hard copy form. With over 20 years of lighting application experience in industrial, commercial, indoor/outdoor sports arenas, and interior projects, the LAS team can tackle your toughest layout request.
Jess Perucho is a lighting certified (LC) professional that has extensive experience in all facets of the lighting industry. He started his lighting career with a G.E. Lighting distributor in his home country of the Philippines. He moved to Philips Lighting and became the Regional Sales Manager for Key Accounts for Professional Lighting. Some notable projects were two international airports i.e., Manila International Airport's conversion to energy-saving systems and conversion of a former U.S. Air Force Clark Base in the Pacific into a commercial airport, several office towers like Citibank and Ayala Stock Exchange. He worked with an agent in the San Francisco Bay Area as an Applications Engineer and continued with several lighting manufacturers in Los Angeles, Toronto & Montreal. One project he is extremely proud of is the conversion of several skyscrapers in New York City, particularly the 102 floors of the Empire State building, to energy-saving solutions. He has also provided services in website design, specification datasheets, and product development. Lately, his team is also harnessing technology such as Virtual Reality & now Augmented Reality to better collaborate across many disciplines. He is passionate about clean, sustainable energy i.e., solar, smart outdoor controls.
He is an IES technical committee member for BIM and Healthcare Luminaire design. When he is not busy with lighting-related activities, he wants to spend time walking the family's German Sheppard dog, Riley.
Jess loves to cook, play golf, read history, travel, and photography.
Jossh is a graduate of Texas State University where he achieved a degree in Interior Design. Jossh brings to LAS a strong background in both interior and architectural design. He has experience in commercial interior design, residential architecture and structural design.
His interest in the strong role lighting plays in creating and changing space is what brought Jossh to his position with LAS. His passion for innovation and motivation to stay on the edge of lighting trends is what drives Jossh daily.
He is an IES Emerging Professional and a native of Saltillo, Mexico (home of Saltillo tile). A strong tie to his heritage keeps his aesthetic exciting and approachable. Jossh enjoys travel, music and exploring nature in his free time.
